Overview

The Los Angeles LGBT Center is a non-profit organization, and the world’s largest provider of programs and services for LGBT people. Their new 70,000+ SF administrative headquarters, Anita May Rosenstein Campus, in the Hollywood neighborhood— provides affordable housing for seniors, beds for homeless youth, new senior and youth centers, permanent supportive housing for young people, a commercial kitchen to feed homeless youth and seniors, ground floor retail space, and subterranean parking spaces for residents and visitors. This new center enables LA LGBT to provide health-related services, such as medical care, mental health, addiction recovery, HIV/STD testing and treatment, and much more.

Scope

Exante360 worked directly for the LA LGBT Center providing the design of their Structured Cabling (IT/Telecommunication Infrastructure), Security Systems, and Audio-Visual System (Programming).

Key Highlights

Exante360 was also contracted for the DAS system. As part of the new development, the City of Los Angeles requires the installation of a First Respondent Public Safety Distributed Antenna System (“Public Safety DAS”) for the use of police, fire, and EMT personnel in case of an emergency.

Construction documents were successfully completed during the summer of 2017. The Anita May Rosenstein Campus opened in early 2019.
